    Projects

Like any good geek I like to occupy myself with technology when I’ve nothing else to do. And when I do have other things to do. Anyway, this is map of most everything I’ve messed with and can be bothered to share, categorized for your convenience.

Probably stagnant, but not actually dead projects.

  • libvcvideo
  • Version 0 - View Posts
libvcvideo is targeted as a super-simple cross platform video device library. It’s starting with the most basic features and building up, all while keeping a simple API and strong documentation for beginners.

  • libvcconfig
  • Version 1.0.1 - View Posts
libvcconfig is a basic C++ configuration library. At current it tracks strings, integers and booleans, load and saves files.

  • The Mana World Buddy
  • Version 0.0.3 - View Posts
The Mana World Buddy is a small GTK+ buddy list application for The Mana World.

  • libcvfx
  • Version 0.0.0 - View Posts
This is a testbed image effects framework based off of the OpenCV libraries. Has many working effects, but performance is not heavily considered and it is not a stable and flexible system.

  • CameraBooth
  • Version 0.0.0 - View Posts
CameraBooth is a little piece of software that acts as a standalone image booth with some post processing tools. I’m writing it for my reception because the existing solutions are stupid expensive. No source yet.

  • BlowPass
  • Version 0.60 - View Posts
BlowPass is an open source implementation of an entirely browser based, heavily encrypted password manager. It’s currently under heavy development for it’s 1.0 release. See the project developers page for more information.

  • OurReviews / OurUNO
  • Version 0.01 - View Posts
OurUNO is a class reviews site for my wonderful college, UNO. OurReviews is a derivative project where I am taking the core from OurUNO, improving, and open sourcing it.

  • PHP VM
  • Version 0.01 - View Posts
The PHP Virtual Machine is a basic virtual machine written in PHP that accepts a set of instructions modeled loosely in the style of assembly, then executes them. In this first stage it has a 512 integer “RAM” and accepts 7 unique instructions. It also has to have the program coded directly into the script, as I haven’t finished the input side of things yet. Easily the best documented script I’ve ever written.

    Dead, but not useless projects.

  • overlibMod.js
  • Version 0.01
Overlib Mod is a simple addition to Erik Bosrups overLIB v4.21, which turns it into an easier drop in. It is limited in it’s capabilities, since I really only use two standard types of tool-tip, but expanding on them wouldn’t be too hard. I’ve also created some easy config files for overLIB, those are available as well.

  • DK421 / DrumKit
  • Version 0.02 - View Posts
DK421 is a java application that is essentially a keyboard-driven sample player. I started developing it as a driver application for a homemade electronic drum set. It’s first version was called DrumKit, but for the second version I re-wrote much of the program and dubbed it DK421

  • UploadyThing
  • Version 0.01 - View Posts
There isn’t much to say about the UploadyThing. It uploads things, keeps track of them, and lets you retrieve them. It’s flat-file, no DB’s here mister. Those are the main features. Seriously.

  • SimpleBooks
  • Version 0.01 - View Posts
SimpleBooks is the core of a basic web-based book reader application.

Dead, and mostly useless (deprecated or superseded)

  • Lucid Groupware
  • Version 0.00 Rev 17 - View Posts
A flexible groupware framework that can be used just as easily as a PIM. Light, but extremely flexible is the name of the game. I got tired of trying out web groupware suites that had so many “interactivity” modules that got in the way. LGW will have a minimum of pre-installed components, but will be easily themeable and extensible.
Will use PHP, MDB2, Smarty and a dash of Javascript.

  • easy.moo.js
  • Version 0.02 - View Posts
This is a quick and dirty library to implement a selection of the features provided by the eminently cool moo.fx.
